Go me!

I've been thinking about getting an iBook for quite some time now to replace my Latitude (see previous posts on the trouble I've had with it), and I finally found the motivation to do so. This morning I spilled a third of a cup of coffee, with cream and sugar, into the poor Dell, and by the time the power indicator lights started flashing erratically I finally got the battery yanked out. The hard drive should be fine, but the thing is probably toasted. It's now sitting like this: /\ on a towel, draining and drying out, so we'll see what kind of condition it's in tonight. With all the software we've invested in for the Windows platform, though, and this laptop being the last WinBox in the apartment, we may need to build a new kick-a$$ XP machine. Darn. :)
