Yuck, my insurance payments went up by $10/mo. Auto insurance in New York is more than twice as expensive as in North Carolina, and that's after I doubled my deductible. Bleh.
I think that, in general, NY is one of the most expensive states in which to live. When I moved from NY back to VA, my motorcycle insurance dropped by 15-20% for identical coverage,and I'd imagine my truck's insurance went down as well (but my parents are still paying that.)
