sylkeEee, there's wireless at the conference! Very spiff. Maybe it's standard at the larger computer conferences. Next year I'm brining an antenna so I can get longer wireless reception... Oh, wait, the iBook doesn't provide a jack for an antenna, pout.
Good news: I've been having fun, and more importantly talking with some really big names in the field. The bad news is that last night I spilled wine on one of my favorite sweaters. It says dry-clean, but it's a knit, so I thought I could try to rinse out the wine. However, it's a silk knit, so getting it wet made the fibers shrink, so now it's not only uneven and less soft than before, it still has purple spots on it. :( I did get a new nametag, though, since my other one was all purple.
There's a lot of Mac love at this conference. About half of the laptops are either iBooks or TiBooks. And of course we all share tips on where the wireless access points are available. I can get it from my floor, yay!
