Wedding update

I have a wedding coordinator! :) Spoke with her a few days ago and we officially have a contract. This is a very good thing, seeing as I'm trying to organize this thing via distance. I also have colors: maroon and gold (with cream as the color to substitute for gold when you don't want really shiny stuff, like tablecloths or somesuch). I have a photographer, a maid of honor, and I finally talked to my other bridesmaid about being in the wedding. :) I have an officiant, a site for the wedding and reception, and people in mind for the baker and florist and hotel for guests, though I haven't confirmed them yet. Still need: musicians (for the ceremony), invitations, a DJ (for the reception), a caterer (who may or may not provide the furniture rental), um... Rings, right, them too. Oh, and me and the girls should wear something... Speaking of which! Hopefully sometime in the next couple weeks my mom and I will get together and .. Oh.. Hm. What if Mom and Chase road-trip up to DC next weekend (the 8th), and I road-trip down, and we meet up with SSB, and we have a girls' shopping trip and trying-on-dresses shebang. It'd be a total blast, but I don't know that any of those people are available then. I at least should have my mom along for trying on dresses so I'm not feeling all alone and pitiful. Or trying to see by myself if a style makes my butt look too big. ;)

The 8th I can manage. I have Kaplan from 11-2, but after that would be okay, I think.

I think I could swing that if your Mom wants to do it. Really though, I'm free most every weekend for awhile so I'm flexible.
